If he actually took the time to speak to lenders / industry he’d understand that this already happens on a voluntary basis and vast majority of lenders have signed up to it again this year.

if they wanted to do something theyd be asking for a ban on corporate and foreign ownership of standing residential property. if those paracites say they want to ‘invest’ they can damn well build new houses to sell. an act of actually generating economic value rather than just looting.
