His hands have been toed by central government, so much. TfL was absolutely fucked when he took over from the used condom. The used condom had also closed down most of the police and fire station in the city. So he’s had a difficult tenure.

This seems a bit of a weird use of the word “historic”. There have only been two other mayors.
At least Londoners know what they’re going to get with him. But maybe he needs to go further. He could learn something from those mayors of some U.S. cities like San Francisco or Chicago.
