I don’t trust this list if Nicaragua is in the top 50. The country has gone to shit since the killings began in 2018. There is no freedom of press, people are fleeing by the 100,000’s every month. All political opposition is in jail and if you say anything remotely close to sounding anti dictatorship, you are thrown in jail. People aren’t happy there unless they are staunch supporters of the the dictatorship and benefit from Ortega’s ruthlessness.
