> Her mother acknowledges she made mistakes but “always tried to do her best”.
Really…
> Evidence shows the then-partner of Rhianan’s mother also had an influence. Ms Carter says this was kept from her.
The partner, American Dax Mallaburn, had been part of a white supremacist prison gang in the US. He met Rhianan’s mother via a pen pal system for prisoners.
Incredible
Probably going to get downvoted for this, but when you compare the differences between this girl and Shamima Begum, it’s absolutely insane and shows clearly how racist the British government is. Also – they don’t give a shit about kids being exploited and groomed by extremists, as long as they can use them to collect intel.

As it’s been already shown in NI, MI5 will standby and watch child abuse in order to gain intelligence or information to give them a hold over the abusers all in the name of national security.
Completely agree Rhianan was a victim in this, but who the fuck starts a relationship with a Nazi prisoner from the other side of the world with a child at home? No question over how she became a target for radicalisation…
Article is light on detail.. Was she planning an attack or not?
I don’t think that ‘The handsome old man on the internet asked me to do it’ fully absolves a 15 year old from responsibility. They’re young, sure. They’re not fucking morons though.

The ‘bomb making book’ is readily available on Amazon UK.
If its an illegal book then can we prosecute Amazon and Jeff Bezos before we prosecute a 15 year old autistic girl?
Or is our entire legal system all about picking off easy targets?
I got as far through the article as needed, as soon as the mother, funnily the one pushing the narrative, also claims her partners ideology lead to her being influenced and the mother was none the wiser?
Absolute horse patties.

👀
Interested to see the response to this, remembering the outpouring of hate towards Shamima Begum
TL;DR
Terrible parent washes hands of all responsibility and blames the legal system rather than facing up to being the true cause.
Why do all these people that are so concerned with racial purity look like they are the result of a genetic experiment gone wrong. I mean, what the fuck is going on with that Christopher Cook guy?
Such a shame. Clear manipulation from such a young age with that person already having difficulties.
Organised Crime Gangs, Extremist Groups and Far Right politicial organisations have been using, grooming and manipulating children for years. Especially if they are from broken homes. It’s almost a classic. Act like a protector, mentor, friend. Make them feel special and wanted. All the while, shaping them into whatever ideology they are spouting, to eventually become a full member of the group/gang when they are adults. Sometimes before adulthood. Depends on the group.
Hmm not seeing the same energy as the shamima case
Clearly she was exploited but then again most extremists are to some extent.
The sui risk should have been looked into more but you can’t blame counter-terrorism for taking this seriously
That article really downplays how her mother took up with a white supremacist.
Her mum is 100% responsible for everything that led to her death, don’t understand why she even has the face to accuse anyone else for not doing something
