  1. Whats the point with the current set up, I’m dual qualified, good job, good salary yet I can’t rent a place of our own, have no privacy and pay out 60% of take home just to survive and put my kid through school. The man just doesn’t get it and fear mongering isn’t going to persuade anyone.

  2. “He added: “I think when I speak to young people, they have lots of different concerns on lots of different issues that affect them. One is, for example, climate action, and that’s an area where we’ve very good plans as a government. I think we’re much more credible on climate for example than the opposition is.”

What young people are you speaking to Leo?

Your party doesn’t and has never cared about young people in this country.

And while climate change is a huge issue, I don’t think it’s priority number 1 amongst the youth of this country that are uncertain where their futures lie, and if they’ll ever be able to own their own place, start a family, and not have the constant fear of not knowing if they’ll even have pensions waiting for them when they retire, while living in a house that doesn’t belong to them

  3. Couldn’t give a fuck about climate change.

I want to be able to get my own place, I want my parents to be able to reap the rewards of their contribution to the state, I want to be able to afford to live in my country.

  4. News just in: Government party claims oppposition party bad

What’s next, Opposition claiming government isn’t doing a good job?

  5. FFG stand for the new class divided Ireland. And that, as they say hereabouts, is a feature not a bug.

  6. He’s learned to stop saying “a Sinn Fein government would mean fewer Air B&B’s and more problems for landlords” then.

  7. I look forward to the day when FF and FG can point to a previous SF government where this is true, so they can stop talking shite about what SF would be like in government.

  8. Leo, mate.

Stop wondering what other people *might* do when you lose your job.

At least try and pretend that you’re concentrating on all the problems you and your friends have caused, and that you have a plan to fix them.

  9. He’s a leader of a party, it’s his right to put forward his platform going into an election cycle. Anyone who is working in the private sector and thinks SF will help them is delusional, we are going to get taxed to high heaven to pay for what they are promising. In my opinion SF have shown no understanding of business, have flirted with Marxism and anti-EU policies, and risk killing the golden goose which is providing well-paid jobs and the shitload of taxes which are paying for our very expensive state.

  10. Taoiseach claims Sinn Féin-led government would mean ‘fewer jobs and lower incomes’ for us.

    There , I fixed it.

  11. Leo, you may of tried to help the lower class, but you absolutely destroyed the middle class. You pushed half of us into poverty and the other half into worry day in day out. The higher class prance around care free, the lower class are helped by SW payments but the middle class get shafted with little to no government help.
