Highly optimistic German marketing.

  1. I don’t get it – the food is great and the advertising even tries to be funny by using hertha bsc as an example for sporting obsession.

  2. hm? yeah German Cuisine is not as popular as like italian cuisine but .. I think its fine? Are we the new english people? I think there is a lot of food to be proud of.

but I’m from Germany so eh I’m biased, but I never thought about our country having bad food..

  3. So christmas time, cool nature, football and ok food, a bit uninspiring and generic, is that why it is “optimistic”?

What would you prefer, oktoberfest, beer and pretzels, cosy medieval looking towns, ski jumping, world’s largest science and tech museum.. oh wait that’s Bavaria. I guess I’m biased.

Everyone has their preference, but national tourist ads are often very generic and try to adress as many people as they can. Results can be lacking in inspiration.

My country just smacks that tiny island on the lake, on every possible ad opportunity. Very inspiring as well.

  4. What’ve people got against German food? Sure in the south we often joke that Northerners can’t cook and only know salt to spice things up but that’s only really the case northeast of the triple-saxony line, anything southwest of that has pretty good food

  5. Hertha BSC and optimistic? Must be new money coming in.
