Czech crown became one of the best-performing currencies with its value highest since 2008

  1. I’m no economy expert, but isn’t a significant shift of value for a currency in any direction bad? If it becomes stronger, that means it gets more expensive to export stuff and easier to import stuff, i.e. having a negative effect on own economy. Or am I missing something?

  2. The Czech Republic just needs to abandon the Czech crown and adopt Euro already.

    And I’m saying this as a person who lives here…
