My guess is either the package has an insufficient postal fee, or your package is required for paying a tax
You bought something online? Dédouanement = Zollabfertigung.
You have to pay taxes for imports outside EU.
It means you have to pay 5e custody fee + 25cts VAT, so you probably bought a 1.50€ item outside of the EU on which you werent charged VAT (or at least Post assumes so).
Not much you can do but pay it to get your item, even if you paid VAT originally. Do complain to them though
It means that the EU tax was not paid by the sender. It is the tax 25ct + a “extra fee” of 5€/10€.
Usually I would say the error lays at the seller but I know that the Post is often just not able to connect the tracking to the paid tax. I had a conversation with the Post about this and apparently they have a lot of complaints about this.
You purchased goods from a merchant in China (last 2 letters on tracing number indicates its origin). The cost of you parcel (incl. shipping cost) was approx 1,46 EUR and now you have to pay a 17% VAT & a fixed handling fee of EUR 5.
Probably u would have received answer in 2 minutes if you called the phone number on the paper (Post Hotline).
At what time did he drop it off?
Sorry to slightly hijack the thread but why do I have to pay an admin fee when I sent things from family and friends in the UK? They usually state the value of the items as 0!
Welcome to Luxembourg my friend
you have to pay for a package that you already paid
Go to the mentiuoned post office and pay the customs fees.
