This is my 4th winter in Sweden, but the first “real” one since I moved from Nynäshamn to Umeå and I made this to show how to be Swedish in winter. Is it accurate?

  1. Looks really nice! I really don’t miss Umeå. Not because Umeå is shit. Mostly because in the summer it’s never dark and during the winter you get like 1h of sunlight.

  2. It looks really nice! But I would remove the Christmas themed things, the winter is so much longer than the Christmas.

  3. That’s an excellent summary. Usually they have a lot of far fetched stuff but this is spot on.

Everyone should use winter tires but not that many do, it’s more a tip you give to people who haven’t been biking on snow for their entire lives. Or for example my dad who’s getting up there in age, he got it as a present.

  4. Saknar Skogaholmslimpa och varm choklad. Vört är mer till julbord.

It’s more of a Christmas tote than winter but it’s very cute.

Winter is red runny noses, vab-ruari, semlor, tea candles, wet mittens, nobody prepared for first big snowstorm, ice skates, björnfittemössor.

  5. A lot of coffee would be a year round tradition, but in winter it is additional hot chocolate IMO

Don’t forget to bring your reflexer och broddar when going out.

    Looks really nice
