  1. ‘we may have to wait several years until the political heat goes out of Brexit. Then, we can have a hard-headed look at how to build a new relationship with the European Union that repairs some of the damage and works for both sides.”

    I’m the meantime let’s all suffer the consequences of this political gamble gone badly wrong…

  2. Economists can’t predict the future with any great accuracy, however they can introduce another interdependent variable (still being in the EU) and they can predict the result completely accurately. This is because they know they can never be proved wrong.
