The letter was addressed to Peter. It was written by his cousin Matevž. He mentioned that the father already notify him (Peter) that his sister Mizi (Mitzi or Mari(j)a) died. Till last she thought to get better and just when she realised that there is no hope she died. Her last day they visited her. He, mother, Bert’s Kazinsk ???, and somebody whose family name is probably Jelenc. She was happy to say that she had received his (Peter’s) long awaited letter. The burial was nice. Now he wonders what father will do now, as he is bored. And someone stole him some money (100 din) just 3 days after her burial.
He said that theirs business (probably farm) goes well, but others do not share same luck. “The money crisis is visible everywhere. This year there was also the drought as through the summer there was no rain. The autumn harvest was therefore poor. People had to sell the animals for lower price because of it ( probably because they couldn’t feed them). Attached is a picture of my family so you can see how we look. Picture is bad as we took it in the hurry.”
He hopes that he (Peter) get in touch with them soon. Probably through the letters.
The letter ends also with greetings to his wife and kids.
Interestingly, this letter is written in literary language, whereas the previous one was written in dialect. There was probably a big difference between the writing of the younger and the older generation at that time. The language was changing very fast at that time, if you read old newspapers you can see a big difference in just 20 years (1890-1910).
Edit: this must have been written in the 1930s, as he mentions dinars and economy crisis, so 20 years later than the previous letter.

She died, at last, with the notion that they wouldn’t be able to help her, though all she though about up until the last day was getting better. On the last day me, mother, (some name I can’t make out) and Jelencar (not sure about this either) visited her. She told us with great joy that you had written to her, which she had awaited for a long time. Her funeral was nice. I don’t know what father is going to do now, he’s bored, and to top it all off, three days after the funeral, someone stole a few hundred dinar from him.
Here the economy is relatively good, but elsewhere people are having quite a bit of trouble. The financial crisis is evident everywhere, we also had a bad drought this year, it didn’t rain all summer. Because of this, the autumn harvest was much smaller than usual, and people had to sell their livestock at low prices.
I’m including a photo of my family, so you can see what we look like. Of course the photo isn’t very good because we took it in a hurry.
