Can’t move Albert off of the ambulance into a and e to be seen because Bob is still on a trolley waiting for a ward bed because Charlie is stuck on the ward waiting for discharge to the community. Or Charlie is waiting for investigations or treatment that can’t be done because there isn’t enough capacity. Oh, a and e is also extra busy with people who have walked in or been brought by ambulance because the routine care and clinics and procedures hasn’t been happening.
