Sennheiser moving more of their mid and high end production back to Ireland.

  1. The last two sennheiser sets I’ve gotten have been absolute shite. I don’t know if I’ve just been unlucky, though if it’s a common occurrence, the production of their headphones has really declined in the past 5 years or so.

  2. Great quality, HD250 are perfect audio, But also tried out a lower tier for my kids gaming GPS 300 and they were trash. Emailed to complain and they said “The products are still branded Sennheiser but under license to a separate company EPOS Audio.”.
So ya, screw that. Got Razer Kraken for €40 on sale for kid and they’re the best value gaming headset ever. Would have liked to go with Sennheiser but no.

  3. Is there a list of the models they make in Ireland?

I have an older set of HD380Pros that are probably 10 years old but still in great shape.
Also got a set of BTC HD4.50 bluetooth ones a few years back.
Was annoyed when they pulled support for the app as you can’t adjust the settings on them any more.

  4. Just as an FYI, Sennheiser (recently sold off their consumer division)[https://www.techradar.com/news/sennheiser-sells-off-consumer-brand-in-professional-switch] which is not necessarily be a bad thing but just thought I’d mention it
