Hello, so I’m from Cluj, and I recently learned that at my local Botanical Garden, there used to be this rock display with plants from Tatra ( [https://www.europeana.eu/en/item/9200454/handle_123456789_52225](https://www.europeana.eu/en/item/9200454/handle_123456789_52225) , [https://www.europeana.eu/en/item/9200454/handle_123456789_52272](https://www.europeana.eu/en/item/9200454/handle_123456789_52272) )

Upon further research, I’ve realised it’s a replica of a rock formation near Stratená, near the ice cavern system.

It seems it was quite popular in the Austo-Hungarian empire to deserve a replica.

Also, there are quite a few old photos and postcards of the formation.[https://www.darabanth.com/de/fernauktion/389/kategorien~Ansichtskarten/Slowakei~1500008/1904-Dobsina-Dobschau-Sztracenai-sziklakapu-Sztraczeneer-Felsentor-rock-gate-lyuk-pinhole~II2338826/](https://www.darabanth.com/de/fernauktion/389/kategorien~Ansichtskarten/Slowakei~1500008/1904-Dobsina-Dobschau-Sztracenai-sziklakapu-Sztraczeneer-Felsentor-rock-gate-lyuk-pinhole~II2338826/)

Or a travel journal: [https://www.showcaves.com/english/explain/Literature/DobsinskaPelech.html](https://www.showcaves.com/english/explain/Literature/DobsinskaPelech.html) , where it also describes an interesting rock formation as “Stracenaer Felsenburg”

I can’t find recent pictures of it in the are or references to such a formation. Alas, I don’t know Slovak.

Is it still there, has it been destroyed due to some calamity/world war? Or is simply not popular anymore

*You might be getting this question a lot, donno, I tried to search for it and I can’t find a daily thread to post this question*
