  1. Why are dealers even still a thing?

    These days you congfigure the car on the site, get a price for it, bring the spec with the price to the dealer and they add a few grand on top for fuck all reason.

    To add insult to injury most dealers I’ve dealt with know less about the cars than a 10 minute browse will tell you.
    Why am I paying money to some useless middle man?!

    The faster manufacturers follow the tesla model for sales the better – go and take a model for a test drive, if you like it, go online configure your car, sort out finance, sign the contracts and go collect your car when you’re told its ready. No sales people required.

    Rather than dealers, just have the space given over to garages to repair and service the cars, at least those would come in handy.
