  1. Bank says that they will not increase the interest rate and they lower it so this causes TL(Turkish Lira) to die.

Actually president forcing central bank to lower interest rate which is supposed to be independent.

  2. We don’t see it like that. Our Galaxy-Padisah-Emperor leader is trying to make poorer countries happy. Now they will able to buy things from Turkey and they will be happy. All hail to our Galaxy-Padisah-Emperor

  3. I usually refrain from commenting on this subject cause “BiASed gReeK OpINioN = sHIt”.

But seriously now, wtf does Erdo hope to accomplish? I mean, even an absolute retard would’ve noticed by now that this economic policy is disastrous. And don’t tell me that he’s beyond absolute retardness cause he’s in power for two decades using numerous tricks and schemes, something no retard could’ve accomplished.

  4. I want to know what percentage of Turks has already stored their savings in a different currency. Or is everybody just taking the blows as they come?

  5. If Turkey wasn’t in NATO, this seems like a great time to “invade”. Any invader could probably get far simply by being able to feed the population. Russia isn’t rich, but they are also not so poor that they can’t keep people fed

  6. Little offtop ,I heard that Assad wants take back some lands which now belongs to Turkey. It’s that true ?

  7. I wonder how people deal with it. Normally I oppose Cryptocurrencies but with such monetary issues I don’t see an alternative to pushing all remaining cash in a surrogate currency.

  8. I spent 3 weeks in Istanbul in 2008, I just checked the difference to the Swiss Franc and it looks like the Lira lost more than 90% since then? Wow!

  9. it is a sign of insanity, to repeat the same action and expect a different outcome, again and again …

  10. Come on Turkey, this used to be funny, especially when I had a browse at the cost of nice 2 bedroom seaside apartments, but its starting to get a bit sad to be honest.
