The claims culture in this country is a joke. I broke my wrist in a sports day (It is not long since I was in school before someone tries to call me a boomer) playing soccer. Slide tackle from another lad and I landed on the wrist. It happens, there was never any word of going to court or any of that nonsense. Got a cast and I was fine in 3/4 weeks.
Not everyone claiming is undeserving though. I know this case seems frivolous but I’m always amazed at how many people jump to the defence of insurance companies. We’ve seen a fall in motor claims again this year but most premiums seem to be increasing, same with public liability claims. A lot of people seeking compensation are deserving of it, to generalise and call them claiming bastards is a bit unfair. But definitely yeah that kids mother is a pure chancer
