Beautiful! The best Aurora borealis i have seen was in Ålesund. Ålesund is one of my favourite places to visit,I go there every year both summer and winter if possible. Perfect if one likes to fish and spend time by the sea or you want to take i hlke in the surrounding mountains.

Have any of you tried the aurora functionality in the Yr app?
I work at hurtigruten. Tough i find the northern lights very pretty, but got annoyed as hell when they announced over the PA about it while i was sleeping.
