It’s a surprise it hadn’t decayed into lead given the usual delays
I’m surprised it managed to get on a plane never mind into Heathrow, i wonder what flight it came on.
A tiny amount was found at the end of last year, no threats or concerns. I’ll take a wild stab and say that someone had a chemistry kit or real periodic table with samples that got detected. A nice headline for a non-story
Just watched a documentary earlier about nuclear black Market! Didn’t think it would be here !!
How TF is it breaking news? Minor thing that happened during a routine scan a month ago.
“It’s gone oh so horribly wrong Marty! The buffoons sent my Uranium to the UK instead of the US! We’re never going to get the DeLorean time traveling at this rate!”
Do people in the UK regularly import scrap metal from Pakistan by air freight? How can that make any economic sense?
All news outlets reporting what Met Commander Richard Smith said “extremely small amount of containmented material”. i.e probably a few grams.
Daily mail report on the matter: Dirty bomb fears as “several kilos of URANIUM” is found.
