I know there’s lots of discussion on this sub around the housing crisis.
I think it’s worth discussing whether our current approach of just building more and more sprawl will actually ever solve the issue, let alone create housing people want to live in.
Higher density == lower standard of living.
Wouldn’t ever want to raise a family without a backyard.
If you are advocating for change in housing model you should at least list would the characteristics of the model. I sort of approve of the model but not everywhere, different areas need different solutions. I get annoyed as we should have been having arguments years ago but our government and local authorities kicked the can down the road.
And when you try and change it the NIMBYs come flying in with judicial reviews to stymie new developments at every turn.
