Hey there,

I’m looking (22M) forward with my girlfriend (20F) to immigrate to Germany – Nürnberg by the summer and start a new life in there. I’ve got some people working and having families in there for almost a decade now but I’d like to hear some advices and opinions from some homelanders as well since you guys know the best.

My german level is below the level of the sea but I’m looking forward to learn and be able to speak-write-read to at least a decent level in 1-2 years from now, I’m also looking to take my IELTS/Cambridge certificates for the english language and my girl is most probably a polyglot (she is a very fast learner when it comes to languages and already speaks 3 fluently and a few to an understanding degree).

I’m looking to start from the bottom at first per se as a driver for Amazon or a pharmaceutic company to deliver their meds or anything like that and after I manage to learn german at least to an understanding level I will be looking for better job opportunities to start a career of.Regarding the rent I found that [https://www.immowelt.de/](https://www.immowelt.de/) being the best site so far but I would like to find a backup or a better site if you guys may know one. Regarding the job sites, I’ve got no favorite or 1st choice site and I’m all over the place, ngl I kinda feel lost regarding this subject.

I’m currently working as a Game Analyst and my computer skills are high since I work for a giant game company, I do not consider myself stupid at all, even tho I might be lazy because I like using my brain more than my body (paradoxical – I’m a former pro athlete, did handball for over 5 years and kempo mma for a few to be able to defend myself since I was a brat as a child) and I’m taking in consideration to take the truck driver licenses and do that for a few years until I put my german on point so I actually attend to a german university and with better luck to actually be working in that field of work I studied.

My girl is looking to start from the bottom as well since she’s been to multiple fields of work (from fast foods to pet stores and being flight attendant) and as I mentioned before she’s pretty much a polyglot so it would be easier for her to learn the language and do it faster than me even tho she doesn’t have a driver license yet (she’ll have it by the time we move to Germany tho)

Feel free to ask me anything I might’ve missed trying to make this post as little and easy to read as possible and making it as informative. Thank you for your time and appreciate it very much! 🙂

Note: I’m not starving at all in my country, I’m actually above average and most people consider me coming from a wealthy family even tho I do not consider myself that wealthy, but I do not see myself living in the society I’ve been born to, I do not associate myself with them at all, even tho I love my country, I do not like the people and their mentality (if that makes sense) and considering our options (we’ve visited multiple countries and my girl had some flight attendant courses in Ireland) and the conclusion was – even tho I didn’t like it at first that Germany is the best european country to start a family (I was in law school and studied european & international law and the laws in your country are very attractive for immigrants even tho I know for a fact most of you are against them and to a certain degree I can understand why because asians are taking over my country as well lately).
