I found this rather amusing, so did r/newzealand.

EDIT: Many have pointed out the data is from 2005, this seems to be the case. I still think it’s amusing however, especially as a New Zealander/Kiwi. It’s no surprises we dug this up over in r/newzealand – we still complain about getting knocked out of the quarter-final stage of the Rugby World Cup in 2007 XD.

  1. 15 years old data. Nowadays because of smart phone addiction and social media, the acronym SOI probably has been changed to mean solosexual orientation inventory.

  2. The kiwis are sore losers anyway… they got salty and aggressive that a road in the uk was declared steeper than one of theirs… literally petitioned guiness to redo the measurements and rubbed it in when guiness gave back the title… (according to guiness, you cant measure the angle of a curve…)

  3. [Source](https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/most-promiscuous-countries): *A common example of promiscuous behavior is participating in “one-night stands,” in which two (or more) people engage in sex strictly for the purpose of physical pleasure, with no previous commitment or expected obligation after the act.*

I bet our #1 spot on this list is less about sexual liberation and more about not wanting anything to do with the other person afterwards.

  4. I am not sure what is there to be proud of. At least, to me, promiscuity doesn’t sound great, probably people are being unfaithful in their relationship and lot of STDs.

  5. Is that ranking for ‘what they do after they get drunk’?

Also, I think I saw a post where authorities reported fall in birth rates…. Thats….. Interesting
