Is there a garbage truck depot/factory etc near OP? I pulled out a cat like that out of a brand new garbage truck at work. No idea if he came here (Enniscorthy) inside of it or jumped in while it was parked here already but it looked similar. That was only a week ago so probably not this.
It’s horrible but chances are if it’s deaf and missing it’s probably been hit by a car
