Prioritise them as we’ll all be in lockdown in Jan.
I mean I have only seen my nearly two year old nephew fourtimes in his life no way I am missing another Christmas with him and my folks. But also it could be my father in law’s last Christmas so we need to go there as well and my wife has 3 siblings
He clearly wanted a full lockdown. How long until he gets his wish? I reckon it’ll be announced on Christmas Day.
Deprioritise listening to MPs unless you are wearing Hyprocracy Protection Equipment.
Fuck that, I am seeing my friends and family during Xmas.
Are Christmas ‘business meetings’ at No. 10 still allowed?
And of course we see the people who claim ‘personal choice’ showing that they don’t really object to rules, because they won’t lift a finger to change their behaviour even slightly even if only asked nicely.
Which is of course why we ever need rules for anything in the first place. So we can pretty much blame lockdowns on the people who respond to this request with ‘No way bruv I’m going to a rave every night just because you asked me not to!’
No thanks, I’m not going 8 months without seeing the boys again
Lock down Jan likely if they go that far.
Stealing Christmas twice at the last minute would be cause of quiet on mass rebellion to full civil unrest.
The tides are too angry especially aftet the party stuff to push that far.
(however of people forlough again il be annoyed . Ive worked entire time… Yes il pay for you ass and holding everything together as you bake banana bread again…)
Think I’ll continue living and just take precautions again.
I’m not sabotaging my mental health and life again for a disease I won’t die from. Last year almost tipped me over the edge and only this month have I gotten back on track.
There’s certainly a part to play for most, but I’m drawing the line for my part in this. It isn’t selfish to prioritise your own health after how long this has gone on for.
A super transmissable variant that doesn’t have high mortality is about as good a variant as you could get. It’s a free pass to natural and herd immunity.
If you can just stay at home and see no one, arseholes who won’t get vaccinated or wear a mask can have a good time for a few more days before we all get locked down.
That’s where we are now. I’m joining team arsehole, I’ll wear my mask and I’m jabbed. But I won’t cancel my night out so someone else (especially some arsehole) can have 2.
Witty poised to introduce new winter holiday, Chrismas, where we celebrate by staying at home alone
