  1. Not a single Latvian went that colony. The only Latvian contributions to Courland’s colonial policy was providing serf (free) labor in shipbuilding manufactures.

    Might as well color Poland and Lithuania as having colonies in Americas since Courland wasn’t independant but a vassal state of Polish Lithuanian commonwealth.

  2. Stop this nonsense 🙄 Latvia as a country was formed 200 years later from the period when the Dutchy of Courland owned Tobago.
