Ukrainian refugees should have ‘pathway’ to Irish citizenship

  1. Good luck lads. I have decided that I will be leaving Ireland next year.

It’s just going to be impossible in the future to build a life here.

Nothing against Ukrainians. I support Ukraine. Nothing against legitimate refugees. It’s the government’s policies that are the problem. If you work for a living, the government has decided that you need to be taxed into oblivion to pay for anyone who doesn’t feel like working and pay for a rake of fake applicants for refugee status that they have let in over the past 20 years.

It has just gotten to the point where Ireland is unlivable. Rents through the roof. House prices out of reach. Tax up the arse. Criminals on the rampage. And more to come in the future. Can’t afford to live here anymore – mentally or financially – and I am forced to abandon ye all to your fate.

  2. I don’t get this. If they are a refugee they already have a pathway to citizenship, 2 years before most people get it.
