Not just care homes but social care workers who deliver care in peoples homes all hours of the day and in all weather.

  2. But it’s usually the poorer old people this affects and they don’t vote either so there is nothing in it for the Tories

  3. Can we just help working people. Boomers created the mess with social care. They actually voted to make it worse for themselves over the past 12 years. That’s their problem. Working people didn’t want any of this.

Focus on cost of living, rent crisis, home prices, build more homes, better people’s wages. Etc.

  4. Mmm and the solutions that John Harris is now putting forward are the same ones that Jeremy Corbyn was recommending the only problem being that Harris relentlessly attacked Corbyn whilst he was Leader.

    Whoopsie John.

  5. Plenty of tories voted for this roll back the state, privatise everything, mayhem. They thought their decision to protect their property wealth would never come back to haunt them. They couldn’t have been more wrong.

They desperately clung on to their liar in chief, Johnsons, rhetoric. You remember? When he ‘said’ he fix social care once and for all. Just like his other bullshit, Brexit, it was always just a carrot to dangle to get their vote.

And now these tory voters who consistently votes against their own interests (even though they were warned to the hilt) are finally realising their property wealth is useless to them. All that matters is that someone is there to wipe their arse when they need it. And they need it a lot. As much as anytime in their lives in fact.

Many of these people have now seen the light. They realise that as they grow older things that they once took for granted – such as walking freely to the toilet and walking freely back out again, no longer apply to them. They need others. They require care. Their family who once swore they would look after them till their dying day, don’t care to call round anymore. They always seem to be busy now they are needed…..

Solution? Not easy. But first things first, the provision of health and social care has to be taken back fully in house. Workers need to be paid properly – not shareholders or the likes of the US hedgefunds. Its the care workers that do the work, not them. We don’t need these parasites, and never have.
