My comic is called Oi! Tales of Bardic Fury. It’s set in 360 AD Ireland and follows the story of a bard named Bryan who gets sent to a village by the sea called Oi that never heard music before. I have 600+ pages out and Volume 3 is coming to and end, so there’s a lot of content and all of it is available to read free online.
I’m not normally a fan of the Manga art style but yours has a sketchy cuteness with sharp edges i find appealing. Following for more.
Edit: HOLY CRAP youve already got so much content, well done! You should seek to profit from this effort
I thought it was Druids, as in the cider. Slightly dissapointed.
I read the first one and it’s fantastic. Have you any ambition to get these published? I’d definitely buy them.
Are you familiar with Sláine? Maybe you might like it, itwas an old comic in 2000AD or something similar I think
Any waifus?
Wow!💪🙌🙌

I like it, would you say Jojo has been an influence on your style? If not recommend some because I’m digging this.
Cool. Remember: there’s literally no physical evidence druids practiced human sacrifice. No bodies with consistent markings, disposal sites, or blood traces at sites have been found.
The entire thing is likely made up by the church to covert people.
It’s possible it’s true but utterly unsupported by physical evidence.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying life was nice back then but… Just be aware.
The good old days when lads weren’t afraid to stab each other over cattle
Have you ever thought you’d like an image plastered at the top of the r/ireland subreddit? Cos we accept user submissions!
Is there a physical comic version of this? Read the first bit and loving it. Great job. 👍
Well, good luck!
Gorgeous
Could you describe the picture? I’m visually impaired so I can’t make it out properly.
Hi I saw You post it kinda sparked my curiosity.
My Grandparents would speak a lot about Gaelic Mythology. The seasons, festivals, the cycles and places.
My Father and Mother would speak about the superstitions and modern tales. Which carry on from the defeat of the Tuatha Dé Danann by the the Milesian. The moving of the Tuatha Dé Danann led by Manannán mac Lir “son of the sea” to the valleys, mountain, lakes, rivers and mounds of Ireland . The Tuatha De Danann becoming the Aos Sí. The importance of Fairy Forts, Trees and Mounds.
The Lebor Gabála Érenn “The Book of the Taking of Ireland” through to the “Leprechaun and the Farmer” story, The Banshee who cries for the 5 families O’Neills, the O’Briens, the O’Connors, the O’Gradys and the Kavanaghs through to the lark in the corn and how the Wren became the King and Queen of the birds.
I am just curious where do You draw from in Gaelic Mythology.
Túatha Dé Danann
Fomorians
Heroes
Legendary creatures
Mythological Cycle
Ulster Cycle
Fianna Cycle
Kings’ Cycle
Echtrai
Immrama
Other tales
Folk tales
Have to say I find the art work quite breath taking.
Have You seen Mike McMahon and other artists work on “Sláine” by 2000AD & Jim Fitzpatricks work on “The Book of Conquests”.

What made you call it Oi? Is there a meaning behind it or anything?
Like the art style.
Just read the first one and loved it. Amazing art style and vocab. Saved the page to read them all, cheers bud
This is fantastic, the art style is so unique and detailed! The dialogue and characters are eccentric and interesting too. Well done!
Irish-themed Manga from America. I’ll pass
