They call is an island but not that you need a boat to get there of course its going to be a good population there.
It’s like Valentia island there a short bridge joining the main land doesn’t even feel like your leaving main land Ireland
I would think both Achill and Inismore will get a lot of tourism over the summer with visitors wanting to see the locations. I am pretty sure the bar has been taken down though since it was built for the film.
