It rather seems that some Romanian MEP clowned around these alternative facts for the internal consumers in Romania, as if there is no internet.

Before any fellow Bulgarians get triggered (like I initially was), her statement included us, not just Romania.

Cool but make sure you do it after Austria is finished with their elections.
for all our troubles, both we and BG deserve to be part of Schengen as much as our european brothers.
and we also deserve simple acknowledgments like these to maintain the hopes that not all european countries see us like the stupid country-side cousin nobody wants to invite to dinner but always ask to give a helping hand.
its such a shame Austria decided to act like this and even more shameful are comments made by ignorant austrian parroting the extremist propaganda they heard on their favourite news channel.
but if from all this we can discuss more and come out more united than before, maybe its good it happened.
westen europe has issues, eastern europe has issues and pointing fingers and playing the blame game is just a waste of energy. let’s pretend for a little while we are all in this together, and like married couples, to have the mentality its us vs problem not us vs us that is the problem.
too much weed(fucking legalize it already amirite) probably affected the coherency of what i meant to express but the jist is let us all be stupid together, its in no ones interest if we are stupid alone.
