The purpose of this law is not entirely clear as its intention is already covered by existing laws.
I know figuring out the nitty-gritties of discrimination and amending constitutions can take a lot of time, but it’s still surprising to see a country like the Netherlands take this long to pass it
Judges aren’t allowed to test laws against the Constitution in the Netherlands. Nothing really changed.
Is there an election coming up?
Weird why it would need to be part of the constitution if it is already part of regular law.
