  1. The tombs of Aigai are probably my favourite archaeological site I’ve visited. The first time I saw King Philip’s greaves, and specifically how one was shaped different to the other (Philip had a limp), it was one of those moments that suddenly a legendary historical figure feels very real.

  2. Such underrated archeological site imo considering it’s literally the tomb of Phillip II, Alexander’s father. Unfortunately it’s kind of in the middle of nowhere
