This isn’t even a controversial request, most of the public supports refugees from Afghanistan being taken care of and the government was actually applauded when they made these promises that they’re now ignoring.
‘UK government urged to honour pledge to Afghan refugees’ families’ They really need to stand by their promises to Afghan refugee’s families. It’s very important & the only right thing to do. Unfortunately, this UK government doesn’t honour it’s pledges to anyone’s families, be them refugees or British nationals. Shocking state of affairs from a shocking bunch of ministers. They think ignoring things makes them go away, sadly that’s not the case…
