Hey r/germany,
I’m not sure what I’m asking for here, I think it’s part venting, part maybe asking for some petty revenge type of thing, but I’m not sure what to do.
A little context – my old landlord sold the flat where I’ve been living for 3 years. The new one wants to move in – so far all normal. He sends me a kundigung until end of September 2022. I say I need until end of March 2023 to find a flat, and he agrees if I pay him more rent. I don’t like it, but I accept and have been paying him more since October 2022.
Now this guy has been sending me messages in the middle of the night, usually unhinged, but last night I think he went over the line. I tried to remove the private information, but you can see them here: [https://imgur.com/a/OZjlK4i](https://imgur.com/a/OZjlK4i)
Now I’m looking for a new flat and actively trying to get out, but I get pissed now and want to make his life as difficult as possible. What are the consequences if he actually sues me? Like, I don’t want to stay in the flat, but I really want to make him spend some money/time.
Also, I’m obviously an immigrant here, from Europe, but non-EU, and compared to what other people experience I’m a bit hesitant to say this is hate speech or racism, but maybe there is a way to report him, because at the very least he’s being a jerk.
