I don’t use the trains as they don’t cover my area too well. But it’s no wonder people are put off using public transport with headlines like this.

When you see how trains are in Japan, you can’t look at the trains the same here.

So glad I work for a remote company and don’t have to deal with this crap anymore.
And they’ll still charge you £30 for a 30 minute ride, disgraceful
Look outside of London and it is much worse, showing just how bad rail privatisation has been for the rail network. We will still another rise in fares though, giving people the chance to pay more to not a catch a train due to staff shortages and a poorly maintained network.
