  1. It allows shrimps too and as far as I’m concerned they’re the same level of disgusting, so i don’t see what’s so newsworthy about it.

  3. TBH it will mostly be used as protein powder. Less likely to be used in processed food unless they find a new name for it.

    I won’t mind eating this.

  4. great. humans have been eating all sort of insects for milenia without any major side effects. lots of asian cultures still eat them now with no side effects. no need to discriminate.

  5. I’m sure people who are trying to push this will lead by example and make crunchy bugz the only food available in all of EU offices and in cafeterias of national parliaments.

  6. don’t you just love how it’s “the EU” when something weird gets introduced (national governments could still allow or ban I just as they see fit) just as it’s also “the EU” when something widespread gets banned? fucking sensationalist headlines.
