Wow…they won’t do that again. I hope they’ll be able to recover from this.
They could’ve bought 2 iPhones with that kind of money.
How will they financially recover from this
That’ll learn ‘em!
Goodness that’s..nothing.
€632,000 worth of overcharging..
The offences carry a maximum fine of €5,000 per charge.
So presumably that is a per person damaged fine?!?
There should be an extra three or four zeroes at the end of that.
That’s too harsh on them imo
Don’t get me started on these tramps.
I used to have a work blackberry around 2005. It was the days before a lot of people had home interrnet connections (at least for a house share like i was in).
Used to look up porn on it, scrolling away goodo. A one from accounts brought it to my attention a month later that I had clocked up a bill of €1500 with O2. Not from roaming or anything. It was just the standard data plan for our company. €8 per MB. Expensive wanking. I could have had top class hoookers for that money.
Managed to sweet talk the accounts wan into making it go away anyway
Did they have to return the money they overcharged? That level of a fine is a joke, people get more for having weed possession.
“ComReg jerk off Three Ireland, with them ejaculating over ComReg’s shoes, while ComReg apologizes profusely.”

I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson.
