  1. i thought everyone puts ketchup after taking them out, not before 😮

  2. Try to grate the mushrooms and fry them in a pan before putting them on the bread. They will be much tastier 😀

  3. Why mushrooms on the cheese? Ketchup will be burned. It’s not pizza sauce. You need to clean the oven.

  4. My man that’s the most ass backwards way to make a zapiekanka

  5. Yay, a fellow hot ketchup enjoyer! I agree it tastes better this way

  6. If you want superior, get them in France. Polish variant is dry cinder in comparison.

  7. Im calling Zbyszek, cuz U should be prosecuted.
Unshredded cheese under just big lumps of mushrooms and the ketchup on top before baking should result in 5-10 years

  8. Put some “koncentrat pomidorowy” at the bottom, it tastes way better, and ketchup is optional

  9. I wanted to get one in that famous place in Kraków in Kazimierz. I’ve been waiting for about 45 minutes just to get something of worse quality than frozen zapiekanka from random shop. Can’t recommend

  10. Don’t show this your Italian friends. Or any Italian.

  12. Absolute disguise, that is not a zapiekanka!

Mushrooms must be fried WITH ONION before getting on the bread, shredded cheese should be on top of them and ketchup after baking.

Thanks to the onions, mushrooms have much more flavour and frying them earlier reduces the moisture so bread is more crisp.

  13. Bro what have you done, now I won’t live at peace without eating it

  14. I’m not obsessive about ‘real authentic recipes ‘ but this the only polish fast food so treat this with care and respect bro! 😉 Have a good meal!

  15. Hell yeah! Does anyone have a good recipe I can follow? I love me a good zapiekanka.

  16. It turns there is a wrong way of making zapiekanka and this is it.

It prolly tastes much the same but it is still wrong.

  17. There is barely any “fast” “food” even worth buying in PL anymore. At least from big chains. Waste of (big) money for sub par “food”.
