They know there’s lithium in the soils but proving an asset worth mining is the first step I believe.
There’s already people up in arms.
Plus the lithium is a concern to Europe because the company doing the drilling will export it to China, my understanding is if the deposit is big enough it could be refined in Ireland which is what Europe wants
