I think we learned a while ago that Borris is playing the opposites game.

I seem to remember Matt Hancock stating that there were more than enough PPE last year, it was just a case of getting them to where they’re needed.
LFT don’t really work anyway. In my family there’s been 6 cases of covid all took the LFT that came back negative, only because they went for a PCR as they still felt ill the results came back as positive (there’s 3 other friends who have had this as well) . Some even went to the hospital for operations only to find out there that they had covid. The last 2 both in the same household felt ill for 2 weeks, nothing major just normal cold like symptoms. They took LFT for the full 2 weeks every other day and all were negative. Eventually they both had enough and went for a PCR to which it came back positive.

So it’s either the public aren’t doing the LFT correctly or they just don’t work. So personally wouldn’t bother wasting my time with them. If you have symptoms go for a PCR test instead seem as that is giving you the correct results.
Ordered mine 8.30am Monday and received it today. Have to admit I was surprised.
In fairness if anyone bothers to read the actual detail – they are saying there are plenty of tests, but only so much delivery capacity to send them. Obvs I don’t know if thats true but it certainly could be.
Apparently they are getting Amazon to help with delivery, as Royal Mail can’t cope (which in the week before xmas is perfectly feasible too). .
Woke up about 6:30 this morning and ordered a box (then straight back to sleep).
Johnson denying the shortage is absolute sure fire confirmation of a shortage.
This feels like the petrol thing all over again. I managed to order some within the last few minutes, they only take a few days to arrive, it seems like it genuinely is people panicking and putting strain on deliveries in the middle of the busiest postal period of the year
You know boris… continually denying things are happening does not make send things go away. You do have to confront these issues and let the public know ……….
At this point when Boris speaks, I just hear the teacher from the Charlie Brown cartoons.
Therenis no shortage of supply. just shortage of postal slots.
The ministry of truth denies any shortage in lateral flow tests. Any computer showing shortages must be impounded and fixed, their owners retrained.
“How can there be a shortage, our supply cupboard is full of them.” – The length of sight of Number 10.
Imagine if China trolled us all and actually sent us kits that don’t even work and we spread the virus even more.
