The most sophisticated American aircraft ever shot down was an F-177 bomber that was shot down by a Hungarian guy, an air defense officer of the Serbian army named Zoltan Dani. This is a video of Zoltan and the American pilot meeting each other. I wonder what, if anything, you guys think of him?

Voivodina Hungarians are made better.
Sounds interesting, but this is the first time I’ve heard about them so I have no deep thoughts
he’s definitely one of the hungarians of all time
Both did their job, that’s it. Now they are retired, have a boring life and most likely even get money for this meeting…
the story was blown out of proportion somewhat, it wasn’t the guy or the old tech, all factors have been aligned (repeated flypaths for example) half luck, half all other stuff. still a great story tho, especially both of them survived the conflict
stranger things happen at sea
