The title means nothing to me. Might say “Kattað Gúa”? Have you ruled out completely that the book is swedish or norwegian?
I really tried, i even upped the contrast to try and read it better. But after more than 30 minutes, i give up.
What i can say is that i doubt this is Icelandic. Most results in google when i tried to guess what it said came back with Swedish results. Also, no matter what letters i guess these are, i struggle to find actual Icelandic words that match, let alone both words together.
I noticed that it’s possible the first word ends with ‘lt’ not ‘ð’ or ‘d’, can’t be sure though. Also there’s a question mark to the right of the title. Just some info if anyone else wants to do some investigating.
Another wild guess: in Finnish, the title “Kattait gua?” translates to “Did you cover me?” according to google translate.
