Top two maybe, bottom one def no.
Unfortunately not, but here’s the page you need on how to exchange them.
If you are passing through Oslo you can actually pop into the Bank of Norway.

Nope
No. But if I am not mistaken they can be exchanged at a bank. The one at the bottom went out of use in 2001.
As others have said, you can exchange them at some banks. But if I were you I’d probably not worry about it and keep and collect them (if you have any interest in that).
I’m 25 and I’ve never even seen the bottom one
Maby somone will by that old 500lapp for more than 500kr👌
Hey, I want that 500 Bill!
How did you get that 500 bill🤩 Im 19 and never seen it before!
You cant use them in regular circulation. You can however exchange them at the bank for valid ones. (I think you can only exchange the top and middle ones, as these were the ones used before the new ones. The bottom one im guessing was before that again, not quite sure as i wasnt born yet).
You will need to exhange them in the bank. As someone who works in retail we will not accept old bills. Im not sure if you can exhange the 500kr bill but the 100 and 200 will be no problem
I can exchange that 500 bill for you
How old is the 500?
That 500 bill is classic!

The 1000 bill had Edvard Munch on it and looked like this:

I feel old as shit as I post this, lol
The 500kr one is worth more than 500kr to coin collectors. Probably like 1000kr
Nei
Keep then! I’m pretty sure someone would buy those for over their value
No, but you get them exchanged at National Bank in Oslo. Address is Bankplassen 2, 0151 Oslo
No, none of them. But i can take them back to the bank for you and get them shredded. 😁
The 100 and 200 you can use, not the old 500.
Sell them on e bay!
you can go to a Norwegian bank and hand in the old ones, and they’ll give you new ones… though I think you have to pay a fee.
“Old”, as in NOKAS-money? /jk
That bottom one is really old, you should keep it for a few decades so it becomes a collector’s item. Might get you a decent lump of money.
I would try to sell the 500kr tho, would get 750-1000kr for it
Nope
Keep them for 100 years and sell them for 1 million
I used two of them today ! Not all places like to resive them becouse they just want to take cards! But the banks said its legal payment !
But in some stores you have to look at the signs : some say : card only , but often the next take cash
Nah i will give u a 50 for the useless 500
All are suppose to work 10 years after they are removed from circulation. But stores dont have to accept them anymore.. So you might be lucky for the top 2(if you find a place that accepts them). The bottom one i dont think is worth anything anymore.
Disse pengene er eldre enn meg
Not the 500. But you can exchange it at Norges Bank while you are here.
No but you are able to go to a bank and then return them for the same amount in return with current currency
No. We have made new notes
You can do it for free at the National Bank. If that’s too much of a hassle you can exchange them at Forex Bank (Oslo Sentral Station). They take 20% of the amount though.
The only place to exchange , is Norges Bank at Stortinget , Oslo Norway . No other bank does this anymore…
Nostalgic 100kr and 200kr notes
Nei
I believe any old nites of any country can be exchanged in a local bank!
Nop
Random question: I will be visiting Norway soon. Do need to exchange US dollars for local currency? Is it Euros or kroners?
