Why is this so damn ^(small)
In most islands the gyro is smaller than usual. And people don’t really complain since we are used to this but as customers we are more strict with our sea food. In the mainland and especially northern Greece you can find big portions and way more tasteful. But I suppose this one was pretty good also. Another tip for nice gyro is when you see a small cantine or corner shop that always has people waiting in line outside. This place might not seem fancy but usually has the most tasteful and affordable product.
Is there only potatoes, tomatoes and onions inside?

No, the real souvlaki ingredients are tomato, onion with parsley and paprika, tzatziki sauce and boukovo spice. Anything less is just bland, anything more an abomination.

You can literally buy twice the size in proper “stores” ( no clue how to call “souvlatzidiko” in english) with the same price you paid there .

Hey i know everyone is being negative and u just wanted to share ur experience. It is for sure a full and tasty meal! If you still in Greece I’d ask local young people/students for the best local gyros. U could have a even better experience!
