Disgraceful.. First of all it should be decriminalized anyways, but I’d also argue people should be allowed grow their own cannabis at home for personal use/medically.. Maybe 2 or 3 plants

How did he come to garda attention in the first place… Who on earth is ratting out a 61 year old cancer survivor to the guards for this
Helped a friend through her fight with cancer. It was the only thing that gave her respite despite be on the max dose of painkillers imaginable. Thankfully she survived and still love s A toke .
On the other hand I know a person with MS who prior to their death was being supplied cannabis by the local Garda for their pain management. Basically cannabis that had been confiscated from people who weren’t subsequently charged.
I commend that Garda for doing so because it helped that person. But the hypocrisy of the situation for medicinal cannabis is astounding.
When my mom used cannabis for cancer pain relief I had no idea it was illegal to use – now her hand caught in the cookie jar expression she made back then when I found her using it makes so much more sense lol
