I had no idea the registration rules had changed, looks like I need to register myself.

Couple questions. How do you vote in Luxembourg commune elections? And, what are the consequences of not voting if you are registered?
I’m an expat and interest in voting in the local elections. However, I read voting is compulsory once registered, which caused me to pause my registration. My concern is if I don’t understand how to vote and don’t that I’ll get a large fine or worse.
