Is “severe cold” supposed to be good or not? I am not sure about the word “severe” here.
WHO has warned about headlines like this because even more people will require hospitalization due to Omicron’s much higher transmission rate. So, while fewer get very sick, this variant will still overwhelm any country’s healthcare system – and much faster than Delta if left unchecked.
