Should be a life ban from every ground, but I don’t think that’s possible.
> there was a brief exchange with Spurs forward Richarlison
Interesting that everyone seems to be downplaying the actions of the player who had his hands on the face of Ramsdale and was shoving him moments before the fan “joined in”.
> The Professional Footballers’ Association said “violence towards players is completely unacceptable”
Except when it’s the conduct of its own members?
Got banned in the spurs sub for pointing it out the other day when there were warnings about possible trouble at this game, that young fans of all teams are without a doubt misbehaving more and more, spurs particularly so for a fan base that has been historically well behaved compared to other London teams.
These stories will get more and more common and there will be more and more arrests.
I go to many games at several London clubs and it is becoming a common talking point, since the lock downs fan behaviour is much worse than it was before, and teams who never had a ‘modern/post 80s’ hooligan culture in the past like spurs are moving in that direction.
