So this “newspaper” wrote an article talking about how alarming it is that Polands mass attendance has dropped and how it used to be last bastion of christianity in devilish europe, not even making this up. Link is below if you wanna laugh, also this paper has been a staunch anti-ukraine supporter a d just a bunch of other nonsense. But why are American conservatives so obsessed with Poland, its just weird.

  1. The amount of conservatives who assume I agree with them because I married a Polish woman and moved to Poland is irritating. Mainly because I don’t want to be tarred with the same brush.

Zero attempts to check to see what I think before launching into a tirade about ‘issues’.

  2. Poland might be more conservative than the EU’s average, but other than our far-right party, no one is nearly as batshit insane as actual American conservatives.

  3. Ok, so they do exist in Poland, I actually have met them in some online catholic communities. If you want to learn about them more try typing “katoredpillawka” on facebook. They have a fan page and a group. They accept catholic men or women who are redpillers themselves (who want to be trad, catholic wives). Another very hardcore example is youtube Channel: “Okiem tradycjonalisty”. I don’t pay for oncologist for the last one. In short: a woman is supposed to be a young virgin (of maximum 26-27 years) to be considered a good wife material. EDIT: Ok, so the group is actually hard to find, here you go: https://www.facebook.com/groups/katoredpill
    and the YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/@okiemtradycjonalisty9798/videos

  4. You would think that since Americans are such fucking weeaboos for 1700s Europe, we would at least start building pretty cities 💀

Our politics are so fucking cringe

  5. From a well-known American of Polish descent (Ted Kaczyński), it seems relevant here:

    > The conservatives are fools: They whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can’t make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values

  6. Well, I think about myself as right-wing, antichristian (antispiritual in fact) conservative liberal (liberal in correct meaning, not American one).

  7. As an American living in Poland, I, for one, look forward to the inevitable and irreversible decline of the Church, particularly as a political institution.

  8. Yes. This dude at work stared drulling over 11 listopad marches. It was weird
