The air quality index is currently hazardous. Do you know why? I have never seen such high levels across the entire island.

High PM 10 could be caused by the wind we currently have. Although the wind is not the only factor.
This form of air pollution is being caused by fine sand particles – from the Sahara desert – being transmitted overseas, in a large cloud of dust. These sand particles are so fine that they are classified as PM10 particles.

Too many petrol cars. Get rid of the fossil fuel powered poison generators that are overheating the planet please.
Yesterday was extremely windy and as others said there was a lot of fine dust in the air. My car is covered in a layer of dust and I courier see it in the air at night. Couldn’t stop sneezing myself. Even my dogs were affected.
